Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect during my first Consultation?

Most of your first consultation will be about your dress, looking at referencing imagery and inspirations you have, and together we will sketch multiple designs until we find something that you love. The most exciting part at this stage is watching your dream dress come to life on paper. We can look at fabric colour, textures and qualities and explore the endless amounts of lace your can chose from too.

What should I prepare for my first consultation?

We kindly ask you to bring along any inspirations, mood boards, or your most favourite pinned dresses on Pinterest with you for your first consultation, as this will greatly help us narrow down the key focus details when designing your dress.

I am not at my ideal weight for my wedding, what should I do?

We do understand some brides desire to lose cm’s around the waist before the big day so please do let us know during your consultation. Of course we don’t expect you to be at your ideal wedding weight when you first come to visit us, However we will still request to take your current measurements for sampling purposes.

When should I stop slimming down before my wedding?

For the brides who are slimming down for their wedding day, ideally we would ask you to aim to be at your goal weight / figure at least 2 months before your wedding day.
We will do additional fittings with your sample dress before proceeding to produce your dress and we ask of this to ensure that the quality of your dress is at its most perfect with minimal alterations post production.

How many fitting sessions will I have for my bespoke dress?

Typically you will have 2-3 fittings. If we require more fittings, this will be discussed and arranged with you accordingly.

What if I change my mind on the design?

There is always time to change your mind on some things up until the point of production of your final dress. Please do bare in mind that any change may incur an additional fee to accommodate.

How is the payment structured?

We will ask for a deposit of £150 to place your dress order and to secure your allocation.
We will invoice for 50% of the total cost remaining after your first fitting and when fabrics and materials have been confirmed.
The remaining balance is to be paid before collection of your bespoke dress.
